BOISE, ID--(Marketwire - January 28, 2008) -  American Ecology Corporation (NASDAQ: ECOL) today
announced that it will release financial results for the fourth quarter and
full year ended December 31, 2007 on Thursday, February 7, 2008 prior to
the market open.  Management will conduct an investor conference call the
same day at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (9:00 a.m. Mountain Standard
