Ikona Announces Shareholder Update Conference Call

COQUITLAM, BC--(Marketwire - February 20, 2008) - Ikona Gear International, Inc. (OTCBB: IKGI),
an innovator of compact, lightweight, oil and gas machinery and gearing
technology, announced today that it will hold a conference call to provide
a corporate update and discuss financial results for its year-end and first
quarter.

The call is scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific
Standard Time (PST). Shareholders and members of the investment community
are invited to participate in the conference call.
