<p>NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 25, 2008) -  Midas Fund (<exchange name="NASDAQ">NASDAQ</exchange>: <ticker name="MIDSX">MIDSX</ticker>) will host a
teleconference today, Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 3 p.m. EDT to discuss
the effect of market turmoil on the precious metals sector and how it
affects Fund strategies. Tom Winmill, portfolio manager for the Fund, will
moderate the call.
