Electronic retailer Best Buy reported better-than-expected third-quarter earnings this morning. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

PPI [Producer Price Index]:
U.S. November Producer Prices rose 1.8% compared to consensus of an increase by 1.0%; U.S. November PPI Ex-Food & Energy rose 0.5%; compared to consensus of an increase by 0.2%; U.S. November PPI Intermediate Goods rose 1.4%; Core rose 0.3%; U.S. November PPI Crude Goods rose 5.7%; Core fell 0.8%; U.S. November PPI Energy Prices rose 6.9%; U.S. November Passenger Car Prices fell 2.0%; U.S. October PPI Unrevised at +0.3%.

New York Empire State Manufacturing Index:
New York Fed's December Manufacturing Index 2.55 versus 23.51 in November; New York Fed December New Orders 2.20 versus 16.66 in November; New York Fed December Employment fell 5.26 versus 1.32 in November; New York Fed December Prices Received fell 9.21 versus a decrease by 2.63 in November.

U.S. Retail Sales First 2 Weeks December fell 5.1% versus November; U.S. Retail Sales First 2 Weeks December rose 1.3% versus December Year-Ago; U.S. Retail Sales rose 1.5% Week Ended December 12 versus Year-Ago.
