Consumer Sentiment

Stocks were able to trim off some losses from earlier with news that consumer sentiment hit a two year high. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Retail Sales (MoM):
U.S. May Retail & Food Sales fell 1.2%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.2%; Retail Sales Decline is Biggest Since September 2009; U.S. May Retail & Food Sales Ex-Autos fell 1.1%; April Retail & Food Sales Revised to rise 0.6% from an increase by 0.4%.

University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
University of Michigan Mid-June Expectations 70.7; May 68.8; University of Michigan Mid-June Current Index 82.9; May 81.0; University of Michigan Mid-June Sentiment 75.5; May 73.6.

University of Michigan Inflation Expectations:
University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.8%; May increased by 2.9%; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.7%; May increased by 3.2%.

Business Inventories (MoM):
U.S. April Business Inventories rose 0.4%; Ws Expected to rise 0.5%.
