FedEx raised its earnings forecast for November, due to a growth in priority and ground shipping. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

ICSC/Goldman Sachs Chain Store Sales:
U.S. ICSC/Goldman Sachs Chain Store Sales fell 1.3% in week of December 5; U.S. ICSC/Goldman Sachs Chain Store Sales rose 2.6% On Year.

Redbook:
U.S. Retail Sales First Week of December fell 5.2% versus November; U.S. Retail Sales First of Week December fell 5.2% versus November; U.S. Retail Sales First of Week December rose 1.2% versus December Year-Ago; U.S. Retail Sales rose 1.2% Week Ending December 5 versus Year Ago; U.S. Retail Sales Fall 5.2% First Week Of December versus November; National Chain Store sales fell 5.2% in the first week of the month versus November; compared to consensus of a decrease by 4.3%; Johnson Redbook Index showed seasonally adjusted sales rose 1.2% from last year; compared consensus of a 2.1% increase; Retailers called last week's black Friday a lull; they expect close to the same for the Christmas season.
