CF Industries, 4th-qtr profits blew away Wall St view. Co’s Q4 EPS came in at $3.59 vs Wall St view of $2.34. Revenues rose 25.5% year/year to $1.07 bln vs the $0.89 bln consensus.

(GXP) - short
Great Plains, 4Q profit plunged. Co says fourth-quarter profit fell 86 percent.  The company also lowered its 2009 earnings outlook and cut its quarterly dividend.

(VFC) - short
VF Corp, 4th-quarter profit falls. Co’s net income fell to $115.9 mil, or $1.05 per share, from $164.4 mil, or $1.46 per share, for the same quarter last year. Co also issues downside guidance for Q1.
