(GDI) - short
Gardner Denver Inc, is forecasting a weak first-quarter profit as it sees no improvement in demand for its products. For the fourth quarter, net income fell 52 percent to $30.9 mil, or 60 cents a share, from $63.9 mil, or $1.18 a share, a year ago.

(CEPH) - short
Cephalon Inc. 4Q profit plunges. Co earned $11.6 mil, or 15 cents per share, down from profit of $41.8 mil, or 53 cents per share, during the same period a year earlier.

(CAKE) - short
Cheesecake Factory Inc. said its fourth-quarter profit fell 46 percent on lower sales. Co posted earnings of $7.1 mil, or 12 cents a share, compared with $13.3 mil, or 19 cents a share, a year earlier.
