Hi,

As someone who hasn't invested before and is just considering it, I'm wondering if some of you see these tough times as an opportunity rather than a disadvantage.  I'm reading up on a lot of newbielink:http://qwoter.com [nonactive] and trying to decide if now is the time to take the plunge.  If you were someone brand new to investing, what areas would you feel confident in investing in now (pharmaceutical, energy, etc.)?

Thanks in advance for your help to a newbie!
