(VOLC) - buy
Volcano Corp, posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit helped by strong sales of its ultrasound devices. Co also issues upside guidance for FY09, sees EPS of $0.19-$0.21 vs. $0.15 consensus; sees FY09 revs of $218-$223 vs. $206.99 mln consensus.
(CKH) - buy
Seacor Hldgs, reports earnings of $3.11 per share, vs consensus of $1.98; revenues rose 25.3% year/year to $454.9 mln vs the $383.2 mln.
(SKT) - buy
Tanger Factory, posted a better-than-expected earnings of $0.74 vs $0.68 consensus, revs rose 11% to $68.3 mln vs $63.3 mln.
(IPCR) - short
IPC Holdings reported net income for the quarter of $43.7 mln, or $0.79 per share, compared to $167.0 mln, or $2.48 per share, for the same period a year ago.
(UPL) - short
Ultra Petroleum Q4 results trail Street. The average condensate price realized by the company in the quarter was $46.55 per barrel (Bbl), compared with $79.85 per Bbl, a year ago.
