Trading Strategies from the Street / Re: Stock Market Recovery

Fear of inflation and rising interest rates hit the stock market on Wednesday. As the U.S. deficit hit $1 trillion and news from the Federal Reserve's beige book showed that the economy was still weak or weakening more in all 12 Federal Reserve districts, the three-month rally in the stock market started to slow.

Trading Strategies from the Street / Re: Chinese Stock Market

China's economy is growing at an annualized rate of 9-10 percent while the US economy is at 3-5 percent "normally". The huge economic growth created a lot of opportunities for investors around the world. Wall Street analysts are paying increasing attention to well-run Chinese companies. Even though the stock market in China is young (started since early 1990), and it has a total market capitalization of only less than $2 trillion, the prospect for growth can not be overstated. For comparison, the United States has a total market capitalization of about $20 trillion while the GDP of USA is roughly 5 times that of China.

The stock market is driven by supply and demand. The number of shares of stock dictates the supply and the number of shares that investors want to buy dictates the demand.  It's important to understand the for every share that is purchased, there is someone on the other end selling that share.  The stock market is really just a big, automated superstore where everyone goes to buy and sell their stock.

1. Do not over trade - If your trading capacity is Rs. 2,00,000 then avoid using margin. Infact trade with 1.5 Lakhs only.

2. Diversify- One should diversify his portfolio, invest in different sectors.

3. Buy when vibes are not good that is when stocks are on decline in other words buy at bad news. Sell when prices are high that is when there is good news.

4. Have realistic targets - Don't thinks of making crores in one single day. Market will open daily have realistic targets in your mind and trade with patience.

5. Stop loss - Always follow stop-loss. Don’t be afraid of loosing sometime that is also learning experience.

A Virginia software developer has pleaded guilty to charges related to creating and marketing software designed to send bulk commercial e-mail messages, in violation of the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, the U.S. Department of Justice said. From January 2004 to September 2005, Patton and his company, Light-speed Marketing, developed and sold customized software products that allowed users to send large volumes of spam e-mail at high speeds and disguise the true origin of the e-mails from recipients in order to evade anti spam filters, blacklisting and other spam-blocking techniques, the DOE said.
