Qwoter Stock Spam Report / PPYH Spam
« on: October 15, 2007, 04:47:18 PM »
Physical Property Holdings (PPYH) (PPYH.OB) is again the target of a stock spam campaign. Some Qwoter.com members and visitors might remember last month when PPYH was being bombarded with Manhattan Project Hill related stock spam. This time around it is equally as much hype with the latest press release from PPYH saying the company "explored" properties!

Thanks to Qwoter as always for getting the word out about spam with its forums.

So far we've received two DMXC spams, containing different message subjects but the same message bodies.  PinkSheets.com has a warning label of "Stop: No Information."  See http://spam-list.blogspot.com/search/label/dmxc.pk

Qwoter Stock Spam Report / PPYH Spam
« on: September 22, 2007, 08:19:36 PM »
Getting a lot of Physical Property Holdings PPYH spam. Appears to be extremely speculative since despite the apparent legitimacy of the press release, the stock hasn't traded since early Sept., and there's an obvious stock spam "pump-and-dump" campaign. IP lookups of the spams show Amsterdam and Montevideo. Very popular originations. Seems plausible the company may be behind this, but the IP lookup suggests otherwise, but there is probably ways to manipulate. See coverage of PPYH spam at: http://spam-list.blogspot.com/ and thanks to Qwoter.com for providing individual investors the platform to learn about current and past stock spams.

Qwoter Stock Spam Report / ONCO Spam
« on: September 21, 2007, 12:27:07 PM »
Oncology Med (ONCO) (ONCO.PK) is trading up big through lunch time Friday. A stock spam campaign has coincided with a press release 10 minutes before market open today. The nature of the spam makes Oncology Med look like a classic pump and dump. Any thoughts? See our tracking of <a href="http://spam-list.blogspot.com/search/label/ONCO.PK" rel='tag'>ONCO[/url].

Qwoter Stock Spam Report / UTYW Spam
« on: September 15, 2007, 04:01:52 PM »
We've received a UTYW.OB,
Unity Wireless Corporation stock spam and have began tracking it at http://spam-list.blogspot.com/ (see post: http://spam-list.blogspot.com/2007/09/unity-wireless-corporation-utywob-stock.html)

It appears to be another stock spam originating from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Few UTYW.OB shares were traded on Friday. Some days there is no market activity; on others, there's a couple hundred thousand shares traded. It's reasonable to expect volume will spike on Monday. UTYW.OB is trading at its 52wk low. It's unclear how much it can gain from the stock spam and whether it has lower to go post-pump and dump, if that's what happens.
