Stock Market College / Top ETF Trades for the Day
« Last post by JacksonGold on August 02, 2013, 11:47:54 AM »
WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity ETF (DXJ) – ($47.28 – Down 2.8%): The ETF fell earlier this week as some weak Japanese economic numbers hurt the country’s stock market and sent the Yen higher. Even though in the short-term this is negative, in the long-term it will allow he BOJ to continue their stimulus program that includes devalueing the Yen and pumping up the stock market. I still like DXJ even though it has a small loss.

First Trust Cloud Computing ETF (SKYY) – ($23.77 – Up 4.3%): Good news in the technology sector has driven the price of the cloud computing stocks to new highs this week. There is a small pull back of a few pennies today, but overall the ETF looks great.

SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Equipment & Services (XES) – ($41.46 – Up 0.9%): The initial buy was on a pullback from a high, but after the purchase the pullback continued for a couple days before bouncing. The ETF is now up nearly 1% and it appears the next leg higher has begun. If the pattern continues the next high should be around $43.50.

SPDR Insurance ETF (KIE) – ($57.57 – Up 1.3%): The ETF rallied from the consolidation pattern yesterday on big volume and is pulling back slightly today in what appears to be a healthy consolidation.

General Discussion / Frequently Updated Free educational webinars
« Last post by JacksonGold on August 01, 2013, 03:49:03 PM »
Hey Everyone,

After seeing the popular thread that's updated regularly with open source trading platforms, I've decided to create a thread that I'm going to regularly update with free trading webinars that look to be interesting.

I attend a lot of free webinars to try and catch any new trends/indicators that people are using. It's been one of the easier ways to find and/or try new techniques.

Feel free to use the comments as reviews. I'll be monitoring this to try and keep it from becoming spam filled.

General Discussion / Re: Penny Stock Investing Tips

great gain = high risk
that is how it works generally. I've found you can make a good bit of money with penny stocks but it requires a lot more work then regular stocks, since you always have to stay on top of them.  most penny stocks don't make good long term investments. You are constantly buying low and pulling out when the stock is up, before it goes back down again.

« Last post by preet72787 on February 21, 2013, 06:02:45 AM »
Commodity market today opens on a firm note. On the international market, bullion metals gold and silver trading down on the back of stronger dollar.  Low demand in China due to Lunar New Year holidays can push prices down.  Gold in India is likely to move down. However the downside will be limited due to a weaker rupee. Gold for April delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was 0.28 percent up at INR 30,796/10gms.
